I’m Glad We Talked

It is a conversation often avoided. A topic discussed far too late. Decisions you make regarding your final wishes will impact your loved-ones for years after you are gone. Small planned steps can make a huge difference. My children’s book, “I’m Glad We Talked,” takes place as a parent is dying. The book revolves around the reflection on a previous conversation initiated by the daughter and the decisions made by the Dad. This frees the parent and child to focus on the inevitable event and to invite it in without regrets. The book educates without scaring and teaches children how to begin the conversation that many parents, guardians, and loved-ones avoid.
